Build the infrastructure behind getting things done in Nigeria

Arvices is a small team solving an unglamorous but genuinely hard problem: making it safe to pay a stranger to do work for you.

What we're building

Arvices is a marketplace, a payments system and an AI assistant that all have to work together. On any given week that means provider verification, escrow and payout flows, matching and ranking, dispatch and delivery tracking, or the assistant that handles all of it in a WhatsApp thread.

It's the kind of product where the hard parts are real — trust, money, and coordinating people who have never met — rather than cosmetic.

How we work

Small team, wide scope

You will own whole features end to end rather than a slice of one. If you like narrow, well-defined tickets, this isn't the right fit.

Nigeria first

We build for how commerce actually works here — naira pricing, local banks, patchy connectivity, WhatsApp as a primary interface.

Shipped beats planned

Features go out behind flags and get corrected against real usage instead of waiting for a perfect version.

Honest about trade-offs

We'd rather say "this is a stopgap and here's why" than pretend everything is finished.

Open roles

We don't have any publicly listed openings right now. We still read every open application, and we keep strong ones on file for when a role opens.

To apply, email [email protected] with the subject "Open application". Tell us what you'd want to own and point us at something you've actually built — that's worth more to us than a CV.

Not looking for a job, but want to work with us?

If you provide a service or sell products, you don't need us to be hiring — create a provider account and start taking bookings. See how it works and what it costs.

Think you'd be a good fit?

Send an open application. Tell us what you'd want to own and show us something you've built.
